Weekend Retreat | Re-discover, Rejuvenate, Rejoice

Normal price is £325. A discounted rate was available but is no longer available !

20 Mar – 22 Mar with the OYA team

Re-discover, Rejuvenate, Rejoice is an opportunity for us to celebrate the beginning of Spring. This retreat is for Black women and women of colour.

Just as nature honours and celebrates seasons, so shall we. The winter is a time for hibernating: slowing down, resting, and going inward.

As the weather becomes warmer, plants and flowers come into bloom. Similarly, Spring is a time for us to come out of our slumber, open and explore.

This retreat is for you, if you would like to cleanse, re-set and embrace all that the new year has to offer you.

The exact retreat schedule is subject to change and will be released to registered guests closer to the date.

Activities and Treatments

There will be a number of activities and treatments on offer over the course of the weekend. We continually update the website with details, as they become available.

::: Kemetic Yoga taught by Amani! Egyptian yoga originates from Ancient Kemet, now known as Egypt. It is a restorative system which has unique postures and principles. It combines physical movement, deep breathing and meditation to help achieve balance, peace, order and discipline which is known as Maat.

::: Sound healing with Ratna! Mantra Therapy is an important part of Ayurveda. Mantras are sound formulas, packed with energy and intention, which have a profound effect on the body, mind and emotions. When these sound waves (mantras) are combined with thought waves (intentions) they become powerful tools for insight, healing, creativity and spiritual growth. This sound energy helps to heal our minds at a subconscious level where the root of all our problems exists. Let us sing, chant and move to our own inner rhythm and get onto the highway of devotion and bliss.

::: Visioning Workshop with Stacie! In order to support the transition from slowness and stillness into opening and awakening, this workshop will provide guests with a creative space to dream big and set intentions for 2020. 2019 has been a challenging yet defining year for many. With this workshop, guests can reflect on what they’ve learned from those challenges in order to move through 2020 with confidence and wisdom.

::: Yoga Nidra with Ratna! Yogic sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. The practice itself can be described as guided relaxation that can bring immediate physical benefits, such as the reduction of stress, as well as a deepener awakening.

::: Luna Circle with Jaha & Stacie! Ahead of the New Moon arriving on Tuesday, March 24th, we want to celebrate this Micro New Moon, which is set between two Super Full Moons. We will guide guests through a ritual for the new moon that feels resonant for the group and the theme of this retreat in order to tap into the energy of this moon phase and unlock a space that reflects to you, your beauty, worth and abundance.

TREATMENTS will range from deep-tissue massage to Reiki. In the registration form you can indicate if you would like to book a treatment, so that our therapists can be in touch with you directly. Treatment costs are not included in the retreat package price.
